As you read through the pages of this website, you will notice most information is historical in nature -- some going back literally a thousand years. It is the goal of this site that peoples' lives be enhanced by the information published herein and not be harmed by posting personal individual information on living individuals. 

We do not publish our complete genealogy online nor do we share information of any living individual with other researchers we do not know. As such, the Harper-McMullen Family History website will not publish information that would be considered sensitive, private or potentially harmful if it fell into the wrong hands.

Genealogical records contained herein are focused on older generations. Likewise, email addresses of site visitors will not be published, unless specifically requested or otherwise authorized. 

In the event information is online in our website that a living individual does not wish to be online we will happily take the information off.  All we ask is notification from that individual asking us to do so.
